While the sun shone outside and the tennis camps were in full swing, and some wonderful tennis was on display at the Eye Candy Mixed Open, the badminton courts also saw plenty of action last week. ☀️🏸

The week kicked off with the Badminton Ireland Teicnic Camp. This camp brings juvenile players through the more technical aspects of the game and awards a t-shirt at the end, the colour denoting the technical level attained during the camp. Well done to all the participants on putting in the hard work throughout the camp. 👏🤗

The second part of the week saw our advanced juvenile players being put through their paces in preparation for the new season. There was some wonderful skill on display by all players who will travel the country throughout the season to take part in juvenile, individual and team events. 🌟🥇

Thank you to Ciara Dwyer who facilitated both camps. Thanks to Sarah Barry for helping with the Teicnic Camp, and Eoin Walsh for attending the final day of the Advanced Camp to give his advice and guidance. Well done to each and every player for putting in a great effort during the week. 💯💪
