WHAT. A. DAY!
Never mind Roland Garros. ELTBC was the place to be today with the Banner Battle between Ennis LTBC and Killaloe Ballina TC!
Some brilliant displays of tennis on all 5 courts by both sets of players meant the sides couldn't be separated after 12 fascinating matches! 6 points each and it came down to a play off singles match between our very own Justin Gleeson and KBTC's Tom Lobak. Justin just came out on top which meant the cup is moving home to Ennis for the coming year! 🏆
Our thanks as always to all who helped out on the day with food, photos and updates! And of course the wonderful Ennis supporters who cheered on both teams all day 👏
Thank you so much to KBTC for traveling up and making such a brilliant day of it! You have kept the trophy in great condition 😉 and we cannot wait to travel to Killaloe next year to defend it!
