The battle of the XD5's didn't disappoint. First out was the ladies and men's doubles. Katja & Loretto v Clara & Sinead took to court 5 and despite some unbelievable tennis Katja & Lorretto came out victorious. On court 4 Eamonn & Ryan took on Dan & Frank and what a nail biter that match was - going the distance with 3 sets Eamonn & Ryan winning the 3rd.
Second Round were the mixed doubles with Loretto & Ryan taking on Sinead & Frank another 3 setter going the way of Sinead & Frank. So now at 2:1  all eyes were on Katja & Eamonn vs Clara & Dan which was full of thrills going all the way having been tied at 5-5 in the 2nd set for the decider. As always there can only be one winner and Katja & Eamonn took the 2nd for the Set & Match winning 3:1 and now progress to the Semis on April 6th vs St. Michael's with Home Advantage to Ennis.
